Anahit Chilingaryan, 3rd Place Winner of the "Wisdom Within" 2026 poetry contest
Congratulations to Anahit Chilingaryan, the 3rd place winner of The “Wisdom Within” poetry contest, held for World Poetry Day 2026, organized by the Spiritual Regeneration Movement of India.
Anahit Chilingaryan about her poetry and the winning poem “Love That Is Cosmic”:
“I mainly write in Armenian (my mother tongue) and in Russian, and sometimes in English too. When I write, it feels like I’m in the flow—the words and lines just flow through my mind, I only need to rush to put them on the paper. Later on, I’d do some editing, but the ideas simply come to me. Sometimes they come when I’m about to fall asleep, sometimes in the midst of activity, even in uncomfortable situations like riding on a bus, so I have to take out a pen and paper and write it down before I forget.
I was writing another poem in Armenian, and then I saw this competition and I was inspired. After finishing the other one, I started writing a new one, and in about ten, fifteen minutes, it was done. It just came to my mind. You feel when you’re in the flow, and it just comes to you.”
Anahit Chilingaryan is an MIU Alumna, Assistant Archivist at Maharishi Archives, and a certified Teacher of Transcendental Meditation.
